The Turtle Mountains Wilderness encompasses a diverse, scenic landscape from broad bajadas to highly eroded volcanic peaks, spires, and cliffs. The colors of the Mountains vary from deep reds, browns, tans and grays, to black. You are allowed to hunt and trap here. Animals in the area include bighorn sheep, black-tailed jackrabbits, quail, lizards, and desert tortoise. You are also permitted to ride horses!
Lake Havasu is an hour away from the property, bring your boat, jet skis or just an inflatable raft and float around the Lake. Those hot days can be alot cooler by the lake.
Joshua Tree National Park is little over an hour away. Places like Hidden Valley & Skull Rock are must see places in this Park. While in the Coachella Valley area, head into Palm Springs and Palm Desert for a night on the town and fine dining.
Further past Joshua Tree is Indio, CA if you need to stop in town for supplies at the local Walmart.
